During this time this position worked in conjunction with another intern and the First Year Experience coordinator to supervise the orientation staff. Develop, manage logistics and facilitate Orientation Leader training. Manage campus partners "Orientation Live" information sessions given throughout the month of July. Develop a process for evaluating student workers and meet individually with staff to provide feedback. Assist the Orientation Leaders in making connections and engaging with the incoming first year class.

They receive advanced technical, civic, and leadership training and are responsible for designing and implementing strategies to recruit poll workers (election inspectors) from their respective colleges. Election Fellows must be registered to vote in Monroe County as either a Democrat or a Republican, or be willing to update their registration to meet these requirements. Two students from each partner institution are hired as Election Fellows.
