I had the pleasure of working with Samantha while in Oxfam GB, with our focus on the defining a common approach to support a Global customer across 17 Oxfam Affiliates in over 70 countries. During this challenging project, she proved to be incredibly driven and enthusiastic to both learn but also contribute massively to the overall design that was presented and championed. Her belief in this being achievable and upbeat attitude was certainly demonstrated and aided us all involved to 'up our game'. Samantha is one of those rare people who demands to take ownership and then ensures she delivers to her own high and exacting standards. Her ability to learn quickly and look at ways to use her new knowledge was most evident when deploying for the first instance of a Virtual Support Team. The members of this team were from across the Oxfam confederation, in different countries and with differing languages and were tasked to support defined IT Services through ownership in time zones and language demands. The model did work from the go-live, albeit requiring service improvements as would be expected against a complex service model. A huge well done for her efforts. It was so great to work with Samantha and would certainly embrace any further opportunities to do so again in the future. It is a real delight to be associated with such drive and enthusiasm but with the ability to ask 'that question' which allows us all to really evaluate and define the right model or service asked for by our customer.
