      Within the busy Nuclear Medicine Department I was responsible for and carried out the following: Answered telephone queries and provided non-clinical advice regarding patient care and appointments/admission to patients, Trust staff, referring GP's and consultants. I liaised with staff from outreach clinics. Typed up documents relating to clinical work in a timely fashion, examples include; clinic letters and general correspondence to patients or referrers. Ensured the appropriate clinical documents and images were uploaded onto the Trust systems such as EPR and AGFA. I used prescribed Trust systems such as winscribe and infoflex to type dictated correspondence. File copies of clinical correspondence (e.g. letters, reports and results of investigations) in patient’s case notes and department notes. I tracked medical records appropriately. Updated records and registered patients on PAS as required. Evaluated and re prioritise own work load in accordance with competing demands from patients, medical staff and others. Entered and/or amended patient information onto the waiting list as required. Other duties include invoicing, filing and providing cover for the Professors PA.
