Bio
Brittney Ogilvie (McManus)
I supervised Sam in her role as Career Services Peer Helper for 5 semesters. What I especially appreciate about Sam is her initiative and willingness to try new things and step outside of her comfort zone. In particular, choosing to be part of our outreach team strengthened her communication and problem-solving skills. It was great to see her leadership skills grow as a Senior Peer Helper, overseeing event requests, which required strong coordination and time management. Another strength is that she’s reliable and present – whether it’s at an event or here in the office, Sam was focused on her Peer Helper duties and makes genuine connections with the students she helped. I highly recommend Sam for any future roles!
