  Perform several laboratory and axcessioning duties simultaneously. These duties include instrument QC and maintenance as well as troubleshooting. A large portion includes Cytology sample preparation and testing, including gynecological and non-gyn sample. Performing slide staining, coverslipping and imaging as well as data entry and accessioning for Cytology, Molecular and Histology departments. Specimen problem troubleshooting and resolution are important parts to my role as well, as patient care is of the utmost importance. Aliquoting samples as needed including volunteering to help our Molecular department with COVID 19. Maintaining a clean laboratory and well stocked workspace to remain efficient.
