This is a 3 month fieldwork experience in the pediatric home health setting. During this experience I have the opportunity to work with kids 3 – 18 years old and their families with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities. A variety of treatment approaches are used to address feeding, social participation, family education and general promotion of increased independence.

Level 2A Fieldwork

This was a 3 month fieldwork experience at the Sedona clinic working in the adult outpatient setting with a focus in hand therapy. During this experience I was involved in treatment and evaluation of a variety of upper extremity injuries with a large focus on shoulder rehabilitation.

Level 1C Fieldwork

This was a 1 week fieldwork experience on the Acute Trauma and Cardiac ICU floors. During this experience I was involved in treatment and evaluation of a variety of trauma injuries and open heart surgeries as well as line management and working closely with and interdisciplinary team.

Level 1B Fieldwork

This was a 1 week fieldwork experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility. I participated in evaluations, leading interventions with clinical instructor support, discharge and documentation. During this experience, I was exposed to many total hip replacements, total knee replacements, pneumonia and edematous upper extremities.

Level 1A Fieldwork

Worked on various ranch jobs alongside the ranchers, performed needs assessment, occupational profile and group interventions in collaboration with the staff at Rainbow Acres and peers. Ranch jobs included working to care for the animals in the barn and making arts and crafts to be sold in the rancher run store.

Such contacts include health professionals, administrative and clinical staff, hospital credentialing managers, and with school and university faculty and managers.• Responsible for developing, scheduling, and coordinating student, resident, and other health professional rotations, internships, and other educational experiences • Work with Regional Directors of Medical Education to develop and coordinate AT Still University (ATSU) clinical schedules for second, third and fourth year medical students.• Facilitate credentialing for all ATSU student rotations outside of North Country.
