With the COVID19 outbreak and work from home becoming mandatory, the focus of this role shifted to supporting kaimahi with the transition to remote work and empowering managers to lead remote teams. This role sat within the Senior Leadership Team and attended to the HR requirements of 19 ECE Centres across New Zealand (from Whangarei to Christchurch) and approximately 300 staff members. Supported by a Human Resources Advisor, this role included recruitment and selection of teachers and support staff for well-established centres and newly built centres in the licencing phase. General areas of responsibility included on-boarding, coaching and development of people leaders, remuneration, employment relations and payroll support.
