  As curriculum leader I look at training and qualifications at all levels to help people back into work. This is aimed at 16 to 24 years olds who want to do a traineeship. Adults who are unemployed and lone parents A traineeship can be a stepping stone into the workplace for any young person; it is designed to help gain an apprenticeship or employment through the development of workplace skills and experience. It is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for.Traineeships are an ideal opportunity for young people, aged 16 to 24, who are motivated to get a job but lack the skills and experience that employers are looking for.Those who have been unsuccessful when applying for an apprenticeship or other job due to a lack of skills and experience are most likely be good candidates for a traineeship.I also work with unemployed adults or as I like to say adults who are actively seeking employment. Delivering employability skills to adults who are claiming JSA, this includes ICT skills, job searching, interview techniques and confidence building plus much more. Show less

  I worked as a project worker in Rotherham my role was to take education and training to the people of Rotherham who faced barriers to education. College courses were delivered in church hall, community centres and local schools.
