  As a woman entering the Plumbing industry in 2010 when purchasing Climate, with no prior connectionto the industry, I embarked on a journey of learning as much as I could about the trade and establishingconnections that I could turn to for guidance and support. Joining Master Plumbers played a big rolein this and has led me to becoming the current president of the local Master Plumbers, Gasfitters andDrainlayers Association representing the Taranaki association at a national level since 2012.

Over the past 12 years, we havegrown from a team of 7 to a team of 35 establishing a reputation of employing the most highly qualifiedand specialised team in Taranaki. Every day we make sure we do good work that we can all be proud ofand safeguard our community.Health and safety is crucial in our business and I have ensured that our company has embraced safepractices with consultation and implementation by us all. We were accredited with the ACC tertiary levelfor Workplace Safety Management Practices in December 2016 and continue to uphold our excellencewith Site Safe’s certification.In 2015 we won the New Zealand Master Plumber of the Year Award for our business excellence, andin October 2018 we won the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce Medium Business Excellence award aswell as the Trades Excellence award.
