  •Grew up on a family farm that converted its operations to be more sustainable and regenerative. •This began by my father first converting all acres to no-till by 2012 followed by a decision to make the majority of our acres USDA certified organic throughout the 2010s. •In addition to organic and no-till farming of commodity and food crops, I gained experience in intensive/rotational grazing and grass farming through my family’s registered Angus grass-fed beef operation. Modeled off practices championed by people such as Joel Salatin and Bud Williams, our grass-fed beef operation was used was used to improve soil health during the transition of our acres to organic while maintaining a high quality of life for our Angus heard.
