As an award winning Account Manager I undertake the following as my main duties; • Day to day account Management of my ground – Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and Dorset (Highest volume sales figures in the UK) averaging 4 meetings a day. • Use Michelin’s CRM system to produce sales report and to look at new opportunities in the different segments of the Car, Van and 4x4 market. • Manage Michelin fleets – Blue light services Ambulance, Police etc • Sell into National / International franchises, big Independents, retail dealers and regional wholesalers • Carry out product training to National accounts • Train new account managers • Produce and deploy commercial action and marketing plans for each customer to make sure they develop to annual targets. • Promote Michelin’s main message – Fuel efficiency, Longevity and performance (safest tyre on the market) and act in line with Michelins core values – respecting the Environment, Shareholders, People, Customers and the Facts. • Attend and work at marketing, customer events – Goodwood Festival of Speed (and the Revival), BTCC weekends, GT weekends, Porsche and BMW track days etc Whilst working for Michelin I have won Account Manager of the year in 2012 and 2014 and in 2013 I finished within the top 3, as a result I was promoted to Senior Account Manager and now manage the biggest area in terms of tyre units and cash value in the UK – Turnover £15.8 million.
