I wanted to expand on my cycling career and chase my dreams which proved to be a big learning curve but a great experience. I am very thankful for being given the opportunity to compete against the best cyclists in North America. This experience taught me a lot of good life skills, such as; to quickly adapt to new environments; be prepared for any circumstances; to never give up. In 2019, I was given the opportunity to work alongside the appliance team at Fisher and Paykel where I gained valuable work experience in the Industrial Design Sector. I was able to use my current design base skills to navigate through the project, using skills such as; research mood boards and brand identity platforms; 3 dimensional sketch development; 3D CAD Rhino model formation; KeyShot renderings of functional concepts.
