  During my master thesis I explored the possibilities for small scale extrusion of aluminium in solid state. Multiple prototypes were designed, build and tested with the result of successfully extruding thin wires. The practical obtained results were compared by an approximated CFD model for further development. The project excited me the most by making the theoretical process work in a fully functioning prototype.
