SO2 Iraqi Military Doctrine
-
Mar 2010 - Aug 2010
Employed as part of the Officer Education Training and Advisory Branch, I was responsible for nurturing the nascent Doctrine Branch within the Joint Forces Headquarters. I helped rationalize the doctrine they already had whilst also advising the Brigadier General on the Hierarchy of Doctrine, priorities for future development and implementing processes for writing, circulating and endorsing new doctrine publications for the New Iraqi Armed Forces. This involved close liaison with the Iraqi Ministry of Defence, Joint Force Headquarters and the Joint Staff College. My role was to advise and mentor in order to help build capacity from within the Iraqi Armed Forces. Show less
