I had the pleasure of working with Sam as co-founder for the entirety of the time he worked at InterCultural Elements and Buy Box Experts. Sam was originally hired as a salesperson for English speaking prospects. In that capacity, he was first responsible for a number of sales-related tasks including: the acquisition & consultation of both new and existing English-speaking clients, as well as the analyzation and creation of client-specific quotes. Sam has always been at ease working in international environments, having worked with a myriad of international colleagues and customers. Sam had strong abilities to listen to prospects, identify their needs, match those needs with our services and construct well thought out, mutually beneficial solutions. His interpersonal and communication skills helped him develop solid working relationships throughout his tenure. Beyond this, Sam readily experimented with new methods of gaining new prospects, and he was able to share the best of these with his team members. Sam always upheld standards he felt best benefited InterCultural Elements, as well as the needs of the client. This resulted in trust-building in the prospect-salesperson relationship. When he felt those standards were not being upheld, he didn’t hesitate voicing concern, even when doing was not always popular. He worked to improve internal processes with both management and colleagues. He worked both innovatively and independently, and his attention to detail and ability to grasp new information quickly were a key to his success. These qualities led the management team to entrust him with self-directed projects such as pursuing partnerships with other agencies and companies in the ecommerce ecosystem. He excelled at developing and fostering long-term relationships with such partners. Sam isn't always the first to voice his opinion. Rather he listens carefully and, in my experience, offered both thoughtful and thought-provoking solutions to challenges our team faced. Accordingly, I was always happy to hear his perspectives. Sam proved to be an ever-increasingly valued sales team member for the aforementioned abilities, as well as his ability to produce sales under pressure. For all these reasons, I believe Sam is an excellent addition to any company and organization he'd wish to join.
