Sam is such a delightful person to have around. ECB Global Events Department was set up to deliver international tournaments in England and Wales on behalf of the International Cricket Council. These events consisted of the Champions Trophy 2017 and Women’s World Cup 2017. I assisted with the planning and operational delivery of the first ICC City Fan Park in Birmingham for the Champions Trophy. This activity hosted 10,000 people over 3 days and promoted the sport through multiple sport activations and live screenings of key matches inclusive of both teams participating. I delivered another 5 fanzones across multiple cities.
