  Cathartic Youth Literary Magazine is dedicated to giving middle-school through college-aged writers a space where they can publish creative work about mental health. As an editor, I collaborate with the editor-in-chief, giving detailed feedback on young writers’ work from 20+ countries. This feedback includes highlighting their strengths and weaknesses, as well as brainstorming ways to further refine their voice.   Cabaret Theatre’s 𝘖𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘍𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘭is a yearly tradition dedicated to celebrating new work from students at Rutgers University. This year, the festival was entirely remote. My team and I had to adapt to the digital format, and quickly learned the online tools needed to manage a team of directors, actors, video editors, and marketers. Some of my work included: •Facilitating an Original Play Festival which premiered on YouTube and has 80 live views •Organizing monthly meetings with the production team and directors to track the progress of our projected timeline •Brainstorming ideas with the marketing team to craft advertisements that captured the tone of the festival Show less

  Evesham Township’s Extended School Year is a program designed for students with special needs. While one goal of the program is to ensure that students retain necessary academic skills for the upcoming school year, another goal is to create a flexible environment for kids to have fun. Being an aide was walking the fine-line between academic instructor, emotional support system, and classroom facilitator.
