Where do I even start, Sam hired me in January of 2021, I had never been in the Tech world, and he took a chance on me, and I am so thankful that he did. Sam truly changed my life for the better. I have been trying to write this for days, but just feel like I don't truly have the words to express how amazing of a manager/human Sam is. Sam is the manager that wants everyone to succeed, he will drop everything to be there for you when you need it. He goes deep to make sure you understand what he's asking of you, and is there every step of the way to ensure you feel supported. He's personable, kind, funny, understanding, and motivating. Sam knows tech stack tools like the back of his hand, he's a master, and able to walk you through how to do anything you need! It has been an absolute pleasure working for and with Sam over the last several months. I would be overjoyed to share more around my experiences working for and with Sam Sabo - feel free to reach out to me directly via inMail if you want more insight.

I hired Sam as an SDR Manager at Torch and he far exceeded every expectation that I had for him. In addition to taking on responsibilities beyond his job description to cover for me while I was on maternity leave, Sam was loved by everyone on the team and helped us reach a new level of performance that wouldn't have been possible without him. Below are some of the key attributes I think of when I think of Sam: Sam is smart - he gets it, he connects the dots, he learns and problem solves quickly. He was essentially fully ramped into his role within 2 weeks. It blew me away. Sam is kind and funny - everyone loved Sam and enjoyed being around him. He made us laugh and he made us feel connected. Sam is a Servant Leader - Sam is a true servant leader who leads from the front and with empathy. He is available and he wants everyone to succeed. He will drop everything to be there for you when you need it. Sam is operationally savvy - name a common tech stack tool and he has either already mastered it or will if you give him a couple hours. Salesforce reporting? No problem. Need a new dashboard? He can do it. Create SDR conversions manually in excel? Done. Sam goes big - Sam is not afraid of a big project or task and I can think of numerous times he raised his hand to take on a big project and did it quickly and did it right. Sam is a Sales Development Guru - he knows it all. The strategies, tactics, enablement, talk tracks. Sam has gone deep on all things Sales/Business Development and I feel confident in his ability to start a playbook from scratch at any organization. I highly recommend Sam for any SDR/BDR/inbound/outbound/inside sales leadership position and I guarantee you team will be better for it.
