Improving digital productivity through the optimal use of relevant technology, understanding business requirements, managing and directing the technical team tasked with governance, support and implementation of solutions utilising tools available within the Microsoft 365 and Service Now platforms. Key achievements: • Implemented an electronic lab notebook trial using OneNote for a chemistry unit. Microsoft have since commissioned a video case study about this trial. • Co-presented the results of this trial at Griffith University’s Learning and Teaching Summit in June 2019 (Electronic Lab Reports using OneNote - The Good, The Bad and The Future).• Established a Microsoft 365 champions group to build capability at ECU.• Developed a Productivity portal and content to guide users in best practice and governance for Microsoft 365. • Took over the development of the Research Ethics Management System, refined the solution architecture, developed a PowerApps application form to replace a Word form, worked with the Research Ethics Team to meet their requirements to manage the system. Extended it further to include online review, online reporting, reporting portal, PDF generation and reworking the permission model and architecture. • Utilised agile methodology and hackathon style sessions to deliver minimum viable product solutions relevant to business needs.
