Pluck was started by 2MZ in 2016. Since 2007 they have been designing and making residential and commercial furniture in Brixton, south London. Pluck developed from the knowledge accumulated throughout these years. My role included lots of design work, detailing, programming, cutting, finishing, assembly and even installation. Materials included birch plywood, various laminates, veneers and Corian. Pluck was started by 2MZ in 2016. Managing a range of bespoke projects for the creative industries that include products, furniture, sculpture, installations, interiors and marketing suites. Sam works directly with clients, suppliers and manufacturers and has developed an entensive knowledge of making with traditional hand tools and more advanced that include a 10x5 8-cutter CNC router. Sam is involved in all stages of the design process, starting with client meetings and sketching sessions, all the way through R&D, sourcing parts and materials, CNC programming, manufacture and installation.
