  I worked at the Computer shop at Buck's Rock, where I helped educate kids on using various programs such as Gimp, ZBrush, and GameMaker. My primary focus was on game design, and my goal was to not only help kids learn how to use these tools but to spur their creativity to use them for something they could truly be proud of. I was successful at getting kids excited to make their own projects and to help them work through any problems they might have with the tools they're using. In this role, I could efficiently utilize my own creative philosophies and practices in writing to help these kids create stories and games that they were themselves proud of. Additionally, I was proficient at forming a bond with and helping kids through various issues, as would be expected of most camp counselors. Show less
