Answer participant questions in regards to various benefit accounts provided by employers. These include Flexible Spending (FSA), Health Reimbursement (HRA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA); Retirement Accounts, which include 401k, 403b, 457b and Pension Plans; as well as Cobra Coverage. Questions for FSA, HSA, and HRA include claim processes and denials, open enrollment and eligible expenses. Retirement plan questions include distributions, loans, rollovers and fund exchanges. Cobra inquiries involve premiums, subsidies, and enrollment/termination of coverage. I follow and educate participants on the IRS and ERISA guidelines for each plan.I also answer benefit questions for the local hospitals. This includes, enrollment in Health, Dental and Vision plans, Short/Long Term Disability, Life and Legal Insurance, Paid Time Off, and various other benefits offered by the hospitals. I also participate in interviews for potential new hire candidates and train new representatives on Flex Spending, Retirement Accounts and Cobra. Show less

Customer service is a big part of this position and I am able to answer customers questions and direct them to where they want to go, along with make suggestions of what to do at the resort. At Boston University Athletic Department I managed game-day operations for Men's and Women's basketball, track, women's hockey, and mens lacrosse. Before the game i was responsible for setting up tables, chairs, wires, team meals ahead of the media, fans, and players arrival. Following the games I was to put everything away and upload the games to the NCAA for review. At the Reading Recreation Department I set up multiple programs for children. I attended meetings to plan for new future programs and marketing. I made and answered phone calls, met with several people in the different departments to discuss their jobs and get a taste of what they had to offer in their field. I made survey's for previous programs that were run. Also worked on organization of materials, made flyers, sent out email blasts, and assisted trips with elementary and middle school students to Nashoba Valley as a program the Recreation Department set up.
