  During my time at TATA STEEL Shotton I spent long periods of time within the machine shop where I learnt how to use all machining equipment such as several different size of Lathes, Milling Machines, slotting machines etc. At the same time as being a part of the team in the machine shop I was using my mechanical skills in the Fitting Workshop and on plant shutdowns being involved in all major works being carried out due to my dual training of Mechanical with being able to complete machining tasks to the highest standards.
