Responsible for developing the RUSI programme of research into C4ISR with a focus upon multi-domain integration, electronic warfare and future technologies including AI. Joint lead on the RUSI Red Team Project, which seeks to understand the West's adversaries as organisations through their technical capabilities, concepts and structures. This project is currently focused on Russia and China. In-progress publications include analysis of the UK's deployment to Afghanistan as a means to inform multi-domain efforts, joint all domain operations in a UK context, proliferation risks of lethal autonomous weapons, and electronic warfare lessons from recent conflicts. Briefing and advising the armed forces on enemy capabilities and military thought, providing evidence to the Defence Select Committee and providing expert comment to media outlets on the Russo-Ukrainian War, the People's Liberation Army, and other subjects. Other responsibilities include event organisation such as the RUSI C4ISR conference for October 2022, which involves coordination with defence, industry, and academia. Fundraising is an important part of the role, which is achieved through partnership building with industry and defence to focus on relevant topics and outputs for all parties.
