  Enactus Manchester is a community of student, academic and business leaders dedicated to using the power of sustainable, entrepreneurial action to aid disadvantaged communities. Our projects ranged from free English literacy workshops catered for migrants parents, candle-making enterprises and sustainable bee farming enterprises reaching as far as Peru. • Lead a team of over 100 members and managed a committee of 21 executives• Point of contact for collaboration with disadvantaged communities, social enterprises and Enactus UK• Collectively achieved the Diageo Summer Action Champion Award 2017• Represented and lead Enactus Manchester to the semi-finals of the annual nationwide Enactus Nationals competition• Organised and hosted the society's first 12-hour Social Hackathon, in collaboration with Manchester Entrepreneurs and sponsored by Enterprise Rent-A-Car• Gathered 50 participants and industry experts to develop the next social enterprise idea that tackles the UN's Sustainable Development Goals

  • Co-lead a team of 20 individuals in the pursuit of providing new routes to income for a group of indigenous farmers in the San Ignacio area of Peru, through innovative honey farming methods and marketing. • Played a key role in developing the projects relationship with our partner charity in Peru, along with organisation of fundraising events and planning of team meetings, administration and project development.
