      My responsibilities with Workstylz have been to train and support members of the administrative teams of NHS practices on using a patient messaging service. Although still a technical role with elements of support to it, such as taking and logging calls into a ticketing system and assisting with technical queries I’ve been primarily focused on the initial training of practice staff. My role includes all aspects of training, from the basics of the system to running complex automated tasks such as campaigns designed to capture text responses and code these responses back into their clinical systems.       My responsibilities have been varied and often change month to month. In my role have worked with a wide range of customers, all of which with very different requirements. My responsibilities include: ● Acting as support and mentor to first line, providing cover when needed on phones. ● Acting as the first point of escalation for all technical issues that can be fixed remotely. ● Occasional visits to customer sites in emergency or deployment scenarios. ● Configuring and supporting a range of network devices. Mainly Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Netgear and Draytek devices. ● Building and supporting Windows servers from 2003 to 2012. 2008R2 in particular. ● Working with these servers to provide services such as Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP. ● Desktop support for devices running Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 and recent Mac OC’s including Yosemite. ● Configuring and managing backups to the cloud and to local backups. ● Managing our VoIP system both internally and for our clients. ● Managing Google Apps for Business, Google Apps for Education and Microsoft 365. This includes the initial migration of data as well as ongoing support and development. ● Managing and implementing our Remote Management systems Whilst working here my primary achievement has been working on a project for British Gas rolling out Cisco devices to remote, unattended sites delivering highly reliable and secure connections used by a variety of third parties who work with British Gas on these sites.
