  • Championing waste reduction in the bakery! Implemented a change in the production plan in order to streamline the process, keep up with demand with our most popular baked goods, while simultaneously reducing our waste. • Strove to reduce potential losses during a period of high demand for fresh hot cross buns. As these have a shorter shelf life, I aimed not to overfill the bakery area but guaranteed stock was frequently replenished at a steady pace so as to diminish food waste and therefore reduce any potential losses.• Administrating the order of bakery and frozen goods on a daily basis so as to guarantee we are not over stocked but have sufficient supply of popular items.• Replenishing and restocking the bakery area, always ensuring a high level of stock management efficiency.• Presenting a professional and friendly service to all customers and being knowledgeable about the stock and location of products in the bakery, and the wider store.• Also assumed the role of training other members of staff on the bakery.
