Sam was among my top 10 graded students within the EuroSim (negotiations skills) module at Aston University, 2020-2021 (https://www.aston.ac.uk/bss/social-sciences-and-humanities/aston-eurosim). Based on his great performance in the module, he secured his spot and represented Aston University at the International EuroSim 2021, where he engaged in the international and intercultural negotiations simulating the EU decision-making process. Following his engagement in the EuroSim, he continues to be an active member of the Aston EuroSimmer community and jumps at any opportunity to interact and train younger generations of Aston EuroSimmers. During his stay at Aston, but also while taking part in the International EuroSim, he developed a number of practical skills: communication, research, analysis and teamwork- all of which were demonstrated during International EuroSim negotiations and in the module assignments. He is also really good at public speaking, and strategic thinking (especially due to his negotiations within the European Council negotiations).
