  The "IASLA"​ aims to: - Facilitate professional co-operation among sports lawyers and sports stakeholders; - Encourage the establishment of national sports lawyers'​ associations; - Provide exchange of information and best practices concerning sports regulations and policies; - Develop the international debate on legal and economic rules and standards in sport; - Contribute to the fight against any discrimination, racism, violence, doping and match-fixing. The IASLA endeavours to achieve these objectives by organising workshops, seminars, conferences, academic courses, exchange programmes of lawyers among law firms, publications, any other means conducive to the Association's objectives. Pursuant to its statute the IASLA is a non-profit organization inspired by the fundamental principles of democracy and transparency. It is based on the dedication, loyalty and professionalism of its Members. Its goals are purely scientific and, therefore, independent of any political and ideological influence.
