Perform high-throughput screening experiments involving multiple targets including GPCR, in support of drug discovery. Main responsibilities include assay execution, reagent preparation, and data analysis using the software TIBCO Spotfire. Other responsibilities included the preparation of baited streptavidin beads as needed, reagent QC, chemistry-related calculations as needed, maintenance of consumables and troubleshooting lab equipment when needed. Undergraduate Research Assistant

Studied the secondary structure of silkworm silk protein by labeling silkworms with amino acids and studying the protein using 1D and 2D NMR. Collected silkworm cocoons and spider egg sacks in lab that were used for experiments. Assisted graduate students in their research by collecting silkworm, spider egg sacks and analyzing data. Fed the silkworms (Bombyx mori) and spiders (black widows, tarantulas, orb-weavers) in the lab.

Supported middle/high school aged students with their schoolwork throughout the class period. Made sure all students were on task and not distracting other students from their work. Provided one on one assistance to students who needed it, especially those who had a language barrier. Placed at Hawking STEAM Charter School.

Made sure all areas of the department were in top shape, this also included our stockroom and the cash register.
