I met Salomé during my internship at the Azores Geopark. She was my mentor and the person who was practically responsible for my progress, my improvement, the person that planned my every step and was observing my performance while I was completing one task after another. But most importantly, Salomé was helpful and supportive even before I met her. She was there for me throughout the period I was preparing my application, during the bureaucratic procedures and before my arrival, while she was constantly informing me about the circumstances regarding Covid-19 on the island. I feel really lucky and grateful not only for having had the opportunity to meet her but also for having her guide me and share her passion with me. Obrigada Salomé!
