      As the Print Co-Ordination Technician here at Surepak I ensure the full artwork process from the customer to print is effectively and efficiently controlled giving the customer exactly what they expected on the pack. Working closely with clients, designers, studios and reprographics at each stage of the process to have the best possible print results which match the customer expectations but also be fully aligned with the process capabilities and parameters to ensure minimum disruption to the processes when the artwork is approved. - Full working knowledge of Flexographic Printing and its parameters - Analyse new artwork using Adobe Acrobat and Illustrator for suitability to our printing process, offer and implement solutions to any problems that I can foresee - Checking the amount of colours required and managing pantone references are correct and assess if they can be colour matched within a Delta-E of less than 3 - Prepare Pack Specs for customer review and approval of their artwork in the correct packaging chosen - Prepare detailed briefs for the reprographics studios to ensure the customers expectations are met - Analyse and quality check the repro stepped files received to ensure the brief has been met - Participate in pre-print meetings with all parties concerned to ensure all requirements are met fully and make sure everyone involved understands the print process - Work with the print department to ensure they have all the relevant information to run the job - Provide technical support and liaise between sales, customers and designers on new artwork and print related issues Show less
