I worked for Sally when she stepped into the leadership role of a high profile £30M transformation project as it went into recovery/stabilisation mode. Every member or our highly experienced team agreed this was the most challenging project they had ever been involved in. We would report up to government minister level and the survival of a number of business entities was at stake. In my 20+ roles dealing with £300M+ of business I cannot recall a senior leader who I would rather step into that role ahead of Sally. Calmness under pressure, deep and wide expertise, inclusive and engaging. Above all Sally had the ability to deliver exceptional outcomes under exceptional circumstances. She had the vision of how we would succeed, instilled the belief in us that we would do just that and was every inch a leader. It was a pleasure to work for Sally and I believe she is equipped to take on just about anything.
