I worked with Sally for three semesters at Ipakanni Early College Charter School. During that time, I was constantly impressed with her rapport with students, her professionalism, and her preparedness. Sally is an exceptional teacher, and an asset to any educational setting. I positively recommend her for any teaching assignment.

I am teaching 7th and 8th grade art, Art 2, and Ceramics 1. I have over 200 students. Starting in 2019, I have added on the Art Buddies program. younger students from Williams Elementary come over once a week and my older students to mentor and teach them. In addition to teaching Alt Ed and Art 1, I started teaching 10th-12th Advanced Placement Art History. We are focusing on College Board curriculum outline of 250 images through a historical lens and interpret visual and contextual information. We are exploring major forms of artistic expression including architecture, sculpture, painting and other media from across a variety of cultures. They are learning about the purpose and function of art as they develop their ability to articulate visual and art historical concepts in verbal and written form. Show less
