Myakka source their beautiful furniture from dedicated manufacturers in India, Indonesia and Thailand and have built solid relationships with them all, over many years of loyalty and trust. Every piece of furniture is hand crafted from ethically sourced hardwood, sourced under fair trade conditions and finished to the highest standard. My role at Myakka is two-fold. The first involves the scheduling, administration, reporting and analysis of all (online and offline) marketing activity, as well as developing market intelligence and insight through routine and on-demand analysis, both marketing and financial. This role will develop into managing Myakka's 'Pay Per Click' activities from the planning and budgeting stages through to testing and monitoring as well as managing and developing all key digital recruitment activities. I ensure digital campaigns are fully consistent with offline marketing and website activities as well as briefing customer services on campaigns and promotions to maintain consistency across all channels. My second role is that of administrating and developing the CSR activity at Myakka in close co-operation with the founders of the company. Myakka’s success brings more jobs, more trade and more financial stability not just for the company, but for the families and community it supports. All our high quality furniture is made from richly grained Sheesham, Acacia, Mango, Monkey Pod and Teak wood, which are sourced for us from government managed, sustainable plantations in India, Indonesia and beyond.
