  I was an exercise physiologist within the UNSW Fatigue Clinic, which is a multi-disciplinary clinical service offering cognitive-behavioural therapy and graded exercise therapy for patients with chronic fatigue states, including chronic fatigue syndrome, post-infective fatigue syndrome and post cancer fatigue syndrome. The program incorporates psychology and exercise physiology interventions within a multi-disciplinary treatment team and includes a research agenda through which I engage in a range of research activities.   Working as an accredited exercise physiologist at the UNSW Lifestyle Clinic I coordinated the 'Strength Clinic' program that provides individualised strength training programs for patients with a range of chronic illnesses. I was responsible for: the oversight of the programs operating systems including the coordination and supervision of clinical experience for UNSW Exercise Physiology undergraduate students at the UNSW Lifestyle Clinic. In this position I was also a clinician in the UNSW Fatigue Clinic program (since 2011) delivering activity pacing and graded exercise therapy to patients with medically-unexplained fatigue states such as chronic fatigue, post viral fatigue and post cancer fatigue. As the Practicum Coordinator for the UNSW Bachelor of Exercise Physiology I was responsible for the organisation and monitoring of UNSW exercise physiology student external practicum. Show less
