I loved my work at the PRTF, specializing with our younger girls. I used play therapy, and focused on trauma treatment. I provided individual, family, and group therapy. Creating and holding space for these young children, many of them foster children, to heal parts of themselves made work rewarding every day. I loved my position as WRAP Therapist at Lawrence's Pinckney and Woodlawn Elementaries. I am currently the Program Manager of the Rural WRAP Team, assisting school based therapists in navigating multiple systems to lower barriers to service and focus on prevention. We will never be able to quantify the impact of the relationships built through this program, and I am proud of my connection to it.
