I was pretty sure that I wanted two Vitrazza chair mats but I have a uniquely configured office space so none of the standard products would work. I tried to use the on-line tools for customs but I had questions about the best configuration, measurement tolerances, etc. Charles could sense my frustration trying to work via the website and reached out to me to offer help. I asked him to call me so I could explain my concerns & considerations in selecting the proper product. In my opinion he went above & beyond the standard for any customer service person to ensure I knew what I was getting and it would be correct. Additionally, he did a good job of upselling me to the higher quality glass (I appreciate a good sales person and a good consultative sales approach). I love the product and the reason I bought it was because of Charles. He made the process painless.

Charlie is a pro and takes on the biggest challenges with a smile. I saw personally how he worked at JJ Buckley and did amazing things with implementing a very complex inventory management system . Cheers for Charlie

As Operations Manager I built the systems that allowed us to facilitate growth from $2 million in sales to $5 million in sales, maintaining the same team size (albeit restructured positions) and five star customer satisfaction ratings. The following year this position of Sales and Customer Service Manager was created for me by Vitrazza's owner (I had no prior sales experience). I took this team from $5 million in yearly sales to over $8 million. Under my leadership average order value, number of units per order, number of units sold, and dollars per unit, all increased for nearly every four week period.

Vitrazza is a rapidly growing e-commerce retailer of glass office chair mats, an innovative application for tempered glass. We also sell desk guards, office chair casters, and related accessories, selling and shipping all across the United States and Canada. My primary role is ensuring we have the processes, personnel, materials, and space in place to enable the people behind the people. Facilitating a supreme customer experience, one that parallels the products we offer, is my daily goal.

JJ Buckley is the premier e-commerce destination for wine drinkers and enthusiasts. My goal was to provide the best possible experience to our customers as efficiently as possible. I focused on developing personnel, streamlining internal processes, and facilitating communication between the operations team and the other departments with which we worked. Tracking metrics, making informed decisions, and diligence helped set record after record. I loved getting our customers' wine to their tables. Cheers!

Global Gourmet Catering is one of Northern California's largest and finest catering and special events production companies. I led three distinct warehouse teams dedicated to picking, packing, loading, unloading, and storing equipment used for large and small scale special events. I was responsible for quarterly safety training, new hire orientation and on-boarding, and scheduling (personnel and fleet). I assisted in managing multiple projects daily, resulting in my personal management of even more peripheral/associated aspects, many with an appreciable scope. I found success cross training between roles, developing warehouse team members’ skills and abilities, and actively demonstrating best practices. I also spearheaded new processes in cross functional team communication, an absolute necessity to make sure my team had the necessary information to meet or exceed expectations.

I opened this restaurant with my twin brother following a year in East Africa as an HIV prevention educator. I had no previous restaurant experience, and very little management experience, but I was determined and focused. Coming back from Malawi with extensive teaching, public speaking, and team leading experience in diverse settings positioned me well. Following the franchise model our business turned a profit from year one.It was here that I gained a thorough understanding of and true appreciation for customer service and its vital role in distinguishing a business from competitors. It laid the foundation for my understanding of the importance of your customers' experience and what that means for the viability of any business.I also learned new things about myself. Having no previous kitchen management experience I successfully changed long established franchise-wide standards for sandwich preparation with methods I personally developed. I also helped the franchise owner open multiple new locations. Between these experiences and staffing my own restaurant lies the foundation of my talent acquisition abilities.
