I maintain and Maximize benefits from the existing APC installations for Olefins and EOEG Plants, Minimize the Manual Mode of Operation, Reduce variability of Key Operating Parameters, Administer, Maintain and generate valuable recommendations from Controllers Performance Management System, Alarm Management System, Mass Balance System, Energy Managements Systems etc.I was able to achieve 95-100 % effective utilization for Olefins Plant APC system which was not in effective use for more than 2 years.Established a complex wide Mode of Operation reporting and achieved 50% reduction in Manual Mode from current baseline.Developed a set of Best Practices to be followed to sustain APC utilization and Benefits. A detailed data analysis of Furnace performance helped to save the cost of 3000 thermocouples replacement Project and shutdown time.Proposed the idea of Propane co-cracking in Ethane furnaces to maximize capacity utilization.Developed a set of PI Displays for effective monitoring of Plant performance, Analyzer performance and Online monitoring of APC performance.Developed a simple solution to monitor deviation of Safety Critical Operating Parameters and a dashboard prepared.Submitted and got approved 6 technical papers for SABIC STM-12.Received 2 times best employee award Show less
