  • Operations Engineer Davis & Shirtliff Ltd (D&S) 2011- 2013 Led the technical teams in Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) projects involving the installation and maintenance of product portfolio; water treatment plants (desalination), water pumps (domestic & industrial), generators (continuous duty and standby), solar systems & swimming pools (domestic & institutional). Duties:  Conducted site inspections.  Sized equipment and designed system with associated electrical controls and plumbing accessories.  Supervised and collaborated with the technical team in the execution of projects.  Monitored and evaluated ongoing projects.  Organized for preventive and corrective maintenance of systems under service contract.  Managed regional maintenance and repair workshop units; pump, engine and electrical.  Attended site meetings with other project personnel: consultants and contractors. Achievements:  Adapted a system of service outsourcing during peak service seasons.  Optimized job scheduling and site allocation to field (technical) teams.  Imposed service charge/deposit for field inquiries from new clients.  Introduced a stopgap system for equipment pulled out of site to the workshops for repair.  Improved response time to clients on equipment status (24hrs).  Computerized management of workshop jobs.  Reinstated workshop Safety Code and Conduct.
