I've had the good fortune to learn about Lean Six Sigma from Sal and the talented team that he's built at Rackspace through the world-class black belt training program that he's spearheaded here. More recently, I've had the privilege to serve with Sal as a fellow member of the board of directors for the Technical Career Track (TCT) at Rackspace, our home for our most technically-skilled Rackers who’ve also demonstrated strong leaderships skills — but don’t want to follow the traditional management path to the top. As a member of the board that oversees this group, Sal has enthusiastically connected our talented technical Rackers to the specific business problems he helps to solve for every day in his role.
