  Tried to do my (tiny) bit to solve the juggernaut of a problem that is climate change by turning carbon dioxide into useful rocks. Designed and built from scratch a slightly crude (but still highly functional) continuous reactor that could do that same job. Had loads of fun while doing some genuinely fulfilling work alongside some of the most high-impact researchers in the world.   Worked on a key product problem for anaesthesia machines, breaking it down to its roots, eventually settling on an attempt to reduce carbon dioxide levels inside some very high-pressure pipes. Also fixed up and developed a patentable solution to excess moisture in those same pipes. Baby steps to full-fledged engineering and product fixing.
