The position of a Student Associate called for a wide range of tasks and obligations, to the team as well as to the students. It involved creating workshops, teambuilding exercises, discussions, schedules, giving lectures, mentoring and many more. The technical skillset which was needed for mentoring was proof reading, fact checking, editing and finding relevant literature for students papers. Interpersonal skills which I have developed thanks to a wonderful team of students and managers are good communication skills, conflict resolution, time management and innovative problem solving. Lectures which I have given have dealt with anthropology of ethnicity, food and politics and body and identity. The titles of these lectures were: "Narratives of ethnic identity and language among young Panonnian Ruthenians in Serbia"; "Coffee Culture"; "Body as a sociopolitical artefact". Show less

As a part of my training in Ethnology and Anthropology, I participated in ethnographic fieldwork in 2017. My task was to conduct qualitative research on the topic of traditional, cultural, and religious practices in villages near Loznica (Western Serbia). The technical skill-set which I developed after the fieldwork was audio to text transcription and data analysis.
