  Halda river is a very important river in Bangladesh. Genetically pure Indian major carp naturally breed in this river. The socio-economic conditions of the river side people depends on this river by collecting fertilized eggs. But catching fish is strictly prohibited. The role of a project manager is to work with the local people to aware them about the important of the river and alternative livelihood of tobacco cultivators in the up stream of Halda river. To communicate with UNO, Upazila fisheries, agriculture and livestock officer etc. Supervise 4 assistants, 2 boatmen and 40 self-servants. Show less
