I even had the opportunity to work with a Burkinabe (people from Burkina Faso) and coached for the first time in French! This was my first foray into coaching. I had started volunteering with Singapore Prison system through Singapore After Care Association in 1999, befriending inmates while incarcerated and trying to influence them to make a change. CCL was setting base in Asia (Singapore) and I was among the first 15 coaches trained in Asia. So one side was free and the other became a source of revenue, while both was about helping people reach their potential. This was my first foray into coaching.
