I first came to know Eddie as a teenage sailing student at his school in the early '80"s. Our relationship took on different guises over the subsequent years and I can easily say it has been a pleasure to know him; as a boss he was firm, fair and working for him was never dull. I have many fond memories of those times and reflecting back I can attribute many of the adult values I possess today to Eddie's mentoring. ...as a tudor his knowledge knows no bounds and his delivery, teaching style and personality made learning with him fun, enjoyable and engaging. Eddie is a all round great guy and good friend and I would have no hesitation of recommending him in any capacity.

The company specialises in teaching dinghy and cruiser sailing, powerboating and navigation from beginner through advanced to instructor level. It also provides sailing holidays - afloat on cruisers or at its base at East Ferry in Cobh Co. Cork.

Back in the early 1980's there were only a few tourism interests in Cobh and we came together to form Cobh Tourism. I was founding Chairman - a post I held for over 10 years. I am still a member.
