An amazing researcher, professor, colleague, and mentor. He is supportive, motivated, and highly skilled professional. I have worked with him for couple of years and students loved him.

I worked as research assistant at IRIT lab in SEPIA Team in a European project "IC0804 - Energy efficiency in large scale distributed systems". My responsibilities were to conduct research on green computing and energy efficiency in content distribution networks. I worked on a simulation tool developed in C++. I conducted the rigorous simulations on a cloud platform of the research team named CloudMip. Where I learned to use, configure, and manage a real cloud platform. I also wrote the programs using Shell and Perl Scripting languages. I also did a part of my work using Java language. For the visualization and making Figures, I used Gnuplot. I integrated and automated all the code of different languages and tools as a single project that needs only input parameters to enter and all the rest is done automatically on cloud platform from execution of different codes to the visualization. I also had the experience to use Grid5000, a well-known computing grid of France. For writing, I used LateX papers, report and thesis writing. I also delivered the lecturers at undergraduate level in basic computing and supervised the lab work in University Paul Sabatier, University Toulouse III, France. I presented my research work at University of Coimbra, Portugal, TU Wien, Viana, Austria. Show less
