Project Name: Cool Infrastructures - Life with Heat in the Off Grid Cities. This is an International project that studies the exposure and adaptation to heat across cities in South Asia, South East Asia, West Africa. - Conducting Surveys, Analysing each settlement pattern and Identifing Heat Control Methods. - Performing Qualitative Research methods such as Photography, Transect walks across the selected streets. - Documentation of houses and settlements such as Identifying the materials used for Construction of the given houses. Identifying the Plants and observing their shadows and impact of those on the streets as well as houses. - Creating an activity map explaining the use of street in the months of summer and how people interact with street. - Compiling Adaptation strategies/practices used by the people to cope up with the heat in the given settlements. - Creating a clean plan of Indoor built environment by Undertaking the temperatures for every 2hours and creating a graph showing the change of heat inside the house.
