Guided by: Prof. Rania Hussein and Prof. Alexander Mamishev. • Osto-Mate Team Co-Entrepreneurial Lead to create a medical device solution for quality-of-life ostomy problems. • Stoma-Tech SubTeam Lead. Developing an IOS app to generate accurate wound dimensions utilizing a built-in 3D scanner (LiDAR). Worked in Noise-reduction & smoothening of generated 3D models using IOS/Swift. • Co-authored 8 grants and award applications including NSF National and Regional I-Corps, UW ITHS Grant, Global Innovation Exchange (GIX), WRF, and Holloman Health Grant. • Co-entrepreneurial lead to establish product market fit for a medical device. Conducted 50 costumer discovery interviews, and presented final insights to the Jury Panel. This was a 7-week immersive entrepreneurial training program by NSF National I-Corps from Oct to Nov 2022. • Co-authored technical documents, performed equipment research for the lab, studied existing solutions in the market, and researched regulatory requirements for medical devices. Also reviewed many technical documents. Publication: Co-author in conference paper titled “The Remote Hub Lab - RHL: Broadly Accessible Technologies for Education and Telehealth,” International Conference on Remote Engineering and Virtual Instrumentation 2023. Awards Received: Spirit of I-Corps Award Winner at NSF National I-Corps 2022, 3rd Place winner at Global Innovation Exchange 2022.
