  This is the student division of the British International Doctors Association (BIDA) and the FIRST organisation representing international medical students studying in the United Kingdom.Our aim is to support our members on their journey as a student doctor by offering them the best opportunities and resources, to prepare them for their future careers in medicine.We are growing by the day and as of January 2020 we have almost 200 members representing 33 different nationalities

  Elected as a voting representative at the National BMA Medical Students Conference ARM 2020I was given the opportunity to speak as a first time speaker and I chose to speak under prioritised motion #5 which highlights racism and inequality in the medical profession.I delivered the speech on ‘Unconscious bias’ and how it is an innate human quality which must be addressed and given greater importance in all aspects of medicine. I was thrilled when it was noted as a resolution in the BMA Resolutions from ARM 2020 document. My speech was also further quoted in a BMJ News article.
